The cross country area Alta Badia in Sarè/Armentarola, at 3 km distance from San Cassiano town centre, counts approximately 25 km of tracks. The 7 routes of different grades of difficulty: Sass Dlacia, Sarè, Gran Ancëi, Scotoni, Settsass, Störes and Conturines, are prepared for the classic discipline as well as for skating. They lead you through an enchanting Dolomites landscape, at the foot of the Conturines, Lavarella and Settsass mountains.
The cross-countryarea offers you a school-camp, marked in green on the map. The routes Scotoni, Settsass, Störes and Conturines are prearranged as agonistic and training area. Moreover an agonistic and training area, marked in black, are rearranged. In the case of insufficient snowfall, 4 km of the slope are assured with the artificial production of snow. The cross country centre is equipped with bath and changing rooms, a cross country skiing school, ski hire and skiing preparation, bar and restaurant with all day long opening for hot meals.
