From 1100 m to 1800 m. Its crosscountry slopes placed in Auronzo, in Palus San Marco resort, and in Misurina are from 7 km to 52 km long. These slopes offer to the skier more tracings and the possibility to practise this sport on great World Champions slopes. Don’t miss a visit to Auronzo’s village, Dolomite’s Beach.
The cross-country skiing trail Pineta is located in the municipality of Lorenzago di Cadore, a renowned summer and winter holiday resort, where famous people such as the poet Giousuè Carducci and Pope John Paul II have spent their vacation. It is embedded in thick woods at the feet of the Cridola/Micron massif, at a height of 1.056 m above the sea. It can be reached on the road SS.52 Carnica which connects the region of Veneto with Friuli through the Mauria pass. The trail has a length of km 2.5, 3, 4, and 5 and is suitable both for the classic style and for skating. It is fitted with snow-making equipment, flood light on the 2.5 km trail, a large parking lot, and a ski rental. The trail has a national homologation and can thus be used by clubs for organising their races.
