For many years The ”Comunità Montana Comelico e Sappada“, The ”Consorzio Turistico Osttirol Werbung” and The “Consorzio Alta Pusteria“ have collaborated successfully together to carry out many plans regarding tourist development, which have been fi nanced by the Community funds of The Interreg Project – Italy, Austria. The border areas above mentioned boast a long tradition of cross-country skiing that have notably improved the tourist package deals concerning Nordic Skiing. The project wants to promote a high quality tourist offer to satisfy the customers and to increase the opportunity of territorial development.
Comelico Sappada is the northern valley of Veneto, deep in the uncontaminated nature of Dolomites and borders on Austria. It’s the land of many champions as Maurilio De Zolt, Silvio Fauner and Pietro Piller Cottrer.
