• Arriving from Veneto, take the Mestre-Belluno motorway, continue to Pian di Vedoia and Pieve di Cadore. Then follow the road signs to Auronzo and Comelico. Near Auronzo turn right in the direction of Sappada and drive for another 30 km.
   
• Arriving from Friuli, you can take the motorway Palmanova-Tarvisio and get off at Tolmezzo-Carnia motorway exit, then take the 52 main road that, going by Ovaro and Rigolato leads to Sappada.
