The ski training and event center in Obertilliach / Osttirol is the meeting point of European biathlon scene. International world-class athletes train here before the new winter season.
Because of the altitude (1,450m) and the climatic conditions in early November there is usually sufficient natural snow for training and competitions available. Numerous national and international races take place.
The sheltered shooting is natural fit for World Cup, the large press and organisation buildings are finished and the tracks in the area are currently one of the best race tracks in Europe.
