The idyllic Gsieser Tal valley is a real insider tip for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. The wide, sunny valley floor is perfect for gliding through the unspoilt valley on over 42 km of contiguous cross-country trails.
Past snow-covered forests, picturesque farmhouses and typical regional inns that invite you to take a delightful break. The head of the valley to St. Magdalena/Santa Maddalena is challenging for crosscountry
skiers, the rewards are magnificent views over the valley. Afterwards, the wide and perfectly groomed trail continues out of the valley, always slightly downhill to Taisten/Tesido and Welsberg/ Monguelfo. There you can directly access the connecting trail to the neighbouring 3 Zinnen Dolomites region. Skaters and classic skiers alike will find their ideal track on Gsieser Tal valley cross-country ski trail.

The Gsieser Tal Lauf Race of 30 km and 42 km classic and skating is a highlight in the Val Casies - Monguelfo - Tesido cross-country skiing resort. Everybody who loves cross-country skiing can participate - children too. The race is also valid for the Euroloppet series "Gran Fondo Mastertour" and the "Italian Ranking".
