Are you ready for your very own cross-country ski challenge? With the Nordic HERO, your winter holiday in the 3 Zinnen Dolomites becomes a sporty adventure – with a badge, lasting memories, and maybe even a hotel voucher as a reward.
What is the Nordic HERO?
The Nordic HERO is an initiative for all those who want to combine their love for cross-country skiing with a personal goal. Complete five selected trails in the Dolomiti NordicSki network – between Gsiesertal, Toblach, Plätzwiese, Fischleintal, and Welsberg. After completing each route, validate your Nordic HERO wristband – and collect your badge at the end.
How does it work?
- Get your wristband: At the tourist office in Welsberg or Gsiesertal / St. Martin for € 5.00.
- Ski the trails: Complete five routes – there are separate variants for adults and children.
- Validate: Confirm each trail at the validation point using your wristband.
- Pick up your badge: Present your fully validated wristband at the tourist office to get your reward.

Looking for more? Become a Nordic HERO Champ: two stages, 90 km in seven days – a true adventure across the Dolomites. The fastest time wins a hotel stay for two people at Hotel Baur am See – 3 Zinnen.
- Starter package: For € 20.00 you get a headband, buff, isodrink & muesli bar.
- Track & submit: Record your performance via GPX and send it to info@gsieser-tal.com.
- Payment: Pay locally or via bank transfer to the tourism association Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten.
