Route description

The groomed ski hiking trail starts in Schluderbach/Carbonin and leads on forest path no. 37 in a northerly direction. The path leads gently uphill in several bends in the middle of the forest. The fountain, which is located in a left turn, and the fence shortly afterwards indicate that half of the route, to the high plateau Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza on 2,000 m, has already been completed.

From Toblach in southern direction and further on to Schluderbach/Carbonin.

General description

The ski hiking trail from Schluderbach/Carbonin to Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is only suitable for experienced and persevering cross-country skiers, as there are about 550 meters of altitude to be overcome.
The ski hiking trail is not only used by cross-country skiers, but also by winter hikers and ski mountaineerers.

Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is a high plateao at 2.000m where is a magnificent panoramic cross country trail with the view over beautiful Dolomite peaks.
