Moonlight Classic – the cross-country event under the full moon

Once a year, the Seiser Alm transforms into a unique night trail – magical, athletic and unforgettable.

Cross-country skiing on the Seiser Alm means immersing yourself in a vast, open winter landscape – Europe’s largest alpine plateau at 1,800–2,200 metres.

Space and silence to embrace.
The Seiser Alm is Europe’s largest alpine plateau and a paradise for skiers seeking spaciousness, tranquillity and a deep connection with nature. Between 1,800 and 2,200 metres above sea level, skis glide through a sunny, gently rolling network of trails with 360° Dolomite views – Schlern, Plattkofel and Langkofel mountain. The 80 km of perfectly groomed trails offer ideal conditions for both beginners and professionals, in classic and skating styles.

High-altitude training for the elite.
The diversity of trails, professional infrastructure and snow reliability make the region popular with international national teams – including Norway, the USA, Finland, Russia and Italy. Thanks to its low-oxygen altitude, the Seiser Alm is recognised as a world-class training centre.

Moonlight magic.
The Moonlight Classic, the legendary full-moon night race, offers a truly enchanting experience. The race is held in classic diagonal technique and takes place over 15 and 30 km.

A gentle and active winter.
The Seiser Alm stands for a mindful, nature-oriented winter experience – with a focus on quality, relaxation, regional cuisine and sporting inspiration. The connection to Val Gardena via the Saltria–Monte Pana trail adds even more variety.

Dolomiti NordicSki with Seiser Alm flair.
The Seiser Alm enriches Dolomiti NordicSki with a unique blend of vastness, calm, sporting ambition and alpine vitality – a promise for all who wish to experience winter in its full diversity.
